Learning the Peyote Stitch

Plans for the President's Trip on October 20th were finalized and members had a chance to sign-up at the September meeting. Judy Menting helped plan the event and took registrations.

The third hands-on of the year was a lesson on reading a peyote pattern. The multi-purpose room at St. Dom's was full of members anxious to improve their pattern-reading skills. Cindy Collins had worked up some basic patterns and the table captains led members through the process. Perler beads were used along with darning needles and crochet thread. Members were sent home with a packet of beads and instructions to make a small pendant using cylinder beads.
